The 17 hectare botanical park is home to different species of plants and flowers endemic to Gabon but also a large palm grove with a multitude of palm trees from all over the world. This haven of peace which invites a change of scenery has also been imagined for cultural and educational purposes to allow the entire population, in particular children, to learn from contact with this precious nature.

The grounds of the Hôtel du Parc, its vegetable garden, its nursery and its small farm have already hosted most of the city's schools, numerous associations and holiday camps from various backgrounds. Several students preparing for diplomas or defenses in botany, agronomy or science came to do their end-of-studies internship.
